canadian students reject anti-israel apartheid campaign

A week of anti-apartheid events aimed at Israel have taken place on some but not all Canadian University Campuses.

The Centre for Canadian and Israel Jewish Affairs has chosen to have educational and inspirational events on the same campuses, rather than taking a position against on this actual anti-Israel Apartheid week.
This year on two campuses, the student’s unions  of the University of Manitoba and the University of Regina refused to allow the week to proceed. In the Canadian parliament, MP Randy Hoback  stood up and recognized these students.  He stated that their stance against anti-Semitism is worthy and recognized that Israel is truly a democratic country.
