The International Council of Jewish Women held its quadrennial Herczeg Jerusalem Seminar for Jewish Education on May 5-8, 2013, at the Jerusalem Gardens Hotel in Jerusalem. Women from all over the world attended, including representatives of many of ICJW's worldwide affiliates.

The Seminar theme was: “Judaism as a Universal Language – Jewish Perspectives on Contemporary Issues”. The speakers and participants examined Jewish sources on many issues currently on the international and local agenda, and the relevancy of the Jewish perspective to those issues.

2009 Herzceg Jerusalem Education Seminar

The last Herzceg Jerusalem Education Seminar took place in May 2009 at the Ramat Rachel Hotel in Jerusalem, with the theme "Time and Place: Profound Philosophical Concepts in Judaism". Among the speakers were Rabbi Dr. Benny Lau, Dr. Aliza Lavie, Adv. Talia Livne, Dr. Tova Hartman, and other prominent Israeli academics.
