The European Centre of the International Council of Women held their Spring Meeting in London on June 30, 2018, to celebrate the centenary of women having the vote in the UK.
Aviva Kohlman, ICJW’s representative on the International Council of Jewish Women, attended the meeting together with Penelope Conway, ICJW’s new president. During the three-day event, Penelope was invited to addressed a meeting of the National Council of Women about the work of ICJW.
Among the topics discussed at the General Assembly of the ECICW was the #MeToo campaign and whether it represents real progress or the wrong strategy.
