Before the war, the Ukrainian Independent Council of Jewish Women ran the following on-going programs:

• Jewish self-identification, traditions and culture programs, including lectures, debates, master classes, movie watching, joint celebration of Jewish holidays.
• Media reporting: social and political news and Jewish life in Ukraine, Israel and all over the worldThey also run programs related to the war in eastern Ukraine:
  – humanitarian aid to those living in the area of conflict
  – psychological assistance to victims of the conflict, violence, and loss of loved ones
  – assistance in evacuation and relocation from the area of conflict
  – assistance to immigrants, adaptation to a new place of residence for refugees from the area of conflict
