ICJW is involved in the campaign: UNRWA: Stop Teaching Hate, which examines the curriculum of hatred that is being taught to Palestinian children. They have put together a presentation about this issue entitled “The Path to Peace”. Campaign founder and co-chair Dr. Joan Lurie Goldberg  says “We believe that the path to peace begins in the classroom, because unless today’s children are taught not to hate Israel, there will be no chance for peace in the Middle East for another 25 years.”

Following a meeting with ICJW’s Joan Goldberg, the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, Fleur Hassan-Nahum, is seeking to integrate the city’s Arab population into the workforce by replacing hatred in their schoolbooks with Hebrew. And they want the international community to get on board.
