ICJW is co-sponsoring an online Parallel Event at the UN CSW70 hosted by the World Jewish Congress, entitled “Faith, Feminism, and the Fight Against Misogynistic Myths:
Challenging Conspiracy Narratives to Uphold Women’s Dignity”. It will take place online on Thursday, 12 March 2026 at 10:30 AM (Eastern Time).
This parallel event during the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) will explore the impact of misogynistic conspiracy myths on women’s rights and participation. Through keynote addresses, expert panels, and survivor testimonies, it will examine how extremist narratives exploit religious and ethical language, and highlight faith-based and interfaith initiatives that defend dignity, counter disinformation, and promote gender equality. Participants will explore strategies to break the silence, empower women’s leadership, and foster resilient, inclusive communities worldwide.
