Two Affiliates Celebrate 100 Years

A Century of Loving Kindness

ICJW’s Australian affiliate NCJWA celebrated its centenary with a gala event in Sydney on Saturday night with a 1920s theme. The organization began in Sydney in 1923.

Past president Robyn Lenn decided to leave as her legacy a 250-page book that she put together as a diary of the NCJWA’s first hundred years. She did this with help from 3 other NCJWA women including Dee Hart, who was ICJW office secretary during Robyn’s presidency (pictured here)

The book is entitled “A Century of Loving Kindness” and it can be downloaded as a PDF file here.

Bergen County Chronicle

The National Council of Jewish Women Bergen County Section in New Jersey, USA, is also celebrating its Centennial; 100 years of community service and advocacy to enhance the lives of women, children and families in local and national communities, in Israel and beyond.

They also created an Anniversary Chronicle “From Generation to Generation”, especially written and dedicated to mark and celebrate this momentous occasion. Click on the image below to read the Bergen County Chronicle.
